We have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant on an 11-month contract. 
  • Remote worked - must be in the Republic of Ireland 
    Business: Global Online Marketplace Platform   
Reporting to the Senior Manager of International Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in the monthly US GAAP close process, lease accounting, and various ad hoc accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive efficiencies in the month-end close process
  • Manage the month-end US GAAP close process for EMEA entities, including FLUX review
  • Prepare accounting entries for lease accounting, capital software, and other complex entries
  • Assist in the setup of new entities, mergers, dissolutions, and acquisitions
  • Own audits of local statutory financial statements for assigned entities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects to enhance the financial statement process

Skills:
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including US GAAP month-end processes
  • Experience with EMEA statutory reporting and managing audits in a multinational environment
  • Superior organizational skills for handling high-volume workloads
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle Cloud (or other ERP systems), ARCs, Wdesk, Smartsheets is a plus
