The role:  Linux Systems Administrator (6 month rolling contract)
Business: Web Hosting
Contract: 6 month rolling contract (potential for it to turn into a perm role)
Salary: £45k to £50k basic (no day rates) – PAYE/within IR35
Location: Near to Preston, Lancashire – HYBRID role
 
Please note: Due to the location of the business's data centre; candidates MUST already live within a sensible commutable distance of Preston, Lancashire & Manchester (Bolton, Blackburn, Chorley, Wigan, St Helens, Preston, East Lancs, Rochdale/Oldham/Bury, Greater Manchester etc) - This is non-negotiable.

Requirements:
You'll have at least 2-3+ years relevant experience in a similar Linux SysAdmin role & now looking for a new / more dynamic challenge in Web Hosting
Keeping CentOS hosting servers and infrastructure stable in a high uptime and high level of service environment.
Upkeep of our virtualised environment (Debian, Proxmox & Ceph).
Development and improvement of our monitoring systems (Nagios), DNS cluster (Bind), and incoming email cluster (Exim, Postfix, Amavisd, SpamAssassin).
You'll undertake a lead role in the development of new ideas for service improvement or bespoke customer setup from idea stage right through to rollout.
You'll have a full UK driving licence/motorbike license & own vehicle.
