IT Service Desk Administrator - 12-Month Contract
📍 Dublin City Centre | Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 WFH)
Salary Range on this role is €35,000 - €40,000.
We're partnering with a large, well-established public-sector organisation to hire an IT Service Desk Administrator to support a busy internal user base across Ireland and overseas.
This is a hands-on first-line IT support role, ideal for someone who enjoys being visible, solving problems quickly, and working as part of a collaborative IT team.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1st line IT support across desktops, laptops, iPhones, networks, AV and security
- Logging, owning and resolving tickets via the IT helpdesk (with escalation where required)
- Deploying and configuring hardware, software and user devices
- Supporting meeting rooms, video conferencing and drop-in IT hub services
- Managing IT assets, MFDs, procurement and secure IT recycling
- Proactively identifying repeat issues and improving service desk processes
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years' experience in an IT Support / Helpdesk / Service Desk role
- Strong Windows environment experience (Windows 10; Windows 11 migration exposure a plus)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams and end-user support tools
- Confident communicator with strong customer-service instincts
- Ability to prioritise, work independently and thrive in a busy support environment
- Level 6+ ICT qualification desirable

- 12-month contract with strong potential for extension
- Hybrid working: 4 days onsite, 1 day from home
