Foodservice Product & Training Specialist (Nationwide Travel)

Location: Ideally Dublin / Greater Dublin area (nationwide field role)

Are you that person in hospitality who ends up showing everyone else the best way to plate, serve and sell the food? This role is basically that - but on the road.

I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading Irish food business supplying high-quality products into deli counters, forecourts, fast food outlets and catering sites across Ireland. They're looking for someone who lives and breathes foodservice to help their customers get the very best from their products.

The role

This is not a hard-sales, target-driven role. It's all about quality, presentation and promotion of the product. You will:

Visit deli counters, fast food outlets and catering sites nationwide

Demonstrate best practice on cooking, handling and serving a range of food products

Show customers serving suggestions, merchandising ideas and ways to improve product presentation

Help introduce new product lines and ensure staff know how to prepare and serve them correctly

Give feedback on product quality, consistency and how they're performing in the real world

Act as the "go-to" person for practical questions on preparation, display and food standards

Work closely with the sales and commercial teams to support promotions and menu changes

You'll be field-based with regular travel nationwide, so you'll need to be comfortable on the road and staying organised with your schedule.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

Has solid experience in foodservice, catering or hospitality (deli, quick-service, hotel, restaurant, contract catering, etc.)

Understands kitchens, counters and service - and can speak credibly with chefs, deli managers and store owners

Has knowledge of HACCP / food safety standards (formal training a strong advantage)

Is warm, confident and great with people - able to coach, demonstrate and influence without "selling"

Is hands-on and practical - happy to roll up sleeves, get into the kitchen and show how it's done

Holds a full driving licence and is happy to travel nationwide on a regular basis

Ideally based within reasonable reach of Dublin for access to HQ and major routes

This would really suit a chef, deli manager, catering supervisor or foodservice trainer who enjoys being customer-facing, on the move and focused on quality rather than chasing sales quotas.
