Senior Financial Accountant - Statutory & Reporting (Spanish/Portuguese)

- Salary: €107,000 per year
A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support a high-performing EMEA Controller function. This role manages a portfolio of legal entities, statutory reporting, tax support, and key finance projects. You will work cross-functionally with international teams and outsourced partners, delivering high-quality reporting under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements across multiple entities
- Support corporation tax and VAT return processes
- Coordinate statutory audits and review work delivered by outsourced partners
- Contribute to the design, testing and rollout of reporting systems, tools and processes
- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives to drive scalability and efficiency
Required Experience
- Chartered Accountant qualification
- Fluent Spanish or Portuguese
- Strong grounding in auditing and experience handling multiple stakeholders
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP
- High analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
- Comfortable in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines
