A senior-level Procurement Specialist is required to join a Corporate Governance and Legal function in Dublin on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for corporate procurement oversight, governance and regulatory compliance at organisational level
The Role
You will act as a subject matter expert across public procurement, ensuring compliance with EU and Government regulations while supporting the business in delivering complex procurement activity
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing the 3-year Corporate Procurement Plan in line with governance requirements
- Conducting spend analysis and reporting to Finance, Executive and Management Committees
- Reviewing and updating procurement procedures in line with EU and OGP rules
- Advising budget holders on procurement strategy and appropriate mechanisms
- Supporting and reviewing Invitation to Tender documentation
- Overseeing eTenders administration, including system governance and user management
- Sitting on evaluation panels and supporting compliant award processes
- Delivering procurement training across the organisation

What We're Looking For
- A recognised qualification in public procurement (essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in public service procurement (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of the General Procurement Directive and public sector regulations
- Experience operating at governance or committee-reporting level
- Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance and corporate procurement planning
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
