Senior Events Manager (EMEA) - 12-Month Maternity Cover
London | Hybrid (50-75% in-office)
Ready to step into a senior events role at one of the world's most recognised, fast-growing global SaaS powerhouses? This is your chance to shape, lead, and deliver high-impact event programmes across EMEA - from flagship conferences to high-stakes executive gatherings.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Events Manager who thrives in complex, multinational environments. Someone who can juggle multiple programmes without dropping the ball; who knows how to run events that actually move the needle; and who brings both operational brilliance and creative drive.
What You'll Lead
You'll take ownership of a defined portfolio of events serving employees, customers, prospects, partners, press, and analysts across EMEA. These programmes span live and digital formats and require exceptional coordination, stakeholder management, and strategic execution.
Your Day-to-Day
You'll be the project lead for end-to-end planning and delivery, with responsibilities across:
Full event lifecycle management - planning, execution, ROI tracking
Venue research, selection, contracts, logistics
Budget creation and ongoing management
Registration, communications, and staffing
Technical production, speaker management, creative services
Vendor and supplier leadership
Partner, customer, and executive-level events
Supporting large pan-EMEA programmes, including major flagship events
Consistent reporting, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement
Driving cost-efficiencies and elevating overall event experience
This is a hands-on, fast-moving environment that rewards resourcefulness, clarity, and exceptional organisation.
What You'll Bring
10+ years' proven success delivering complex events or conferences in high-growth, multinational environments (ideally tech/SaaS)
Strong vendor, supplier, and venue management experience
A reputation for brilliant multitasking - managing multiple concurrent events without losing accuracy or pace
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and customer service skills
Deep budgeting and commercial awareness
A self-starter mindset, high energy, and a passion for delivering events that genuinely have impact
Advanced digital fluency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite)
Why This Role?
You'll be joining a high-calibre EMEA events team delivering programmes that shape customer relationships, brand visibility, and community engagement across the region. This is a strategic role with visibility, pace, and the kind of complexity only a global software leader can offer.
