Working as part of a forward-thinking HR & OD team, you'll play a key role in keeping core OD programmes running smoothly while the wider team delivers major strategic initiatives across values, leadership, learning systems, and capability frameworks. If you enjoy balancing operational delivery with meaningful people-focused work, this role offers plenty of variety and impact.

  • Annual performance management processes

  • Tuition aid administration

  • HR communications

  • Mentorship programme coordination

  • Graduate programme management

  • Reviewing and developing HR/OD policies and procedures

  • Supporting recruitment and selection activities, including candidate and staff feedback

  • Preparing and presenting HR briefs and documents to senior internal stakeholders (up to Board level)

  • Ensuring organisational values and culture remain central to all OD activity

This role requires a strong sense of ownership, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work across a busy HR/OD agenda.

Key Skills & Competencies

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong communication and personal effectiveness

  • Project management capability

  • Relationship-building skills with a client-focused approach

  • Negotiation and influencing ability

  • Creativity and innovation

  • A solid understanding of organisational development and HR best practice

  • Ability to work well under pressure, independently and to tight deadlines

What You'll Need

  • A Level 8 (or higher) qualification in HR, Organisational Development, or a related field

  • Up-to-date knowledge in areas such as change management, organisational culture, L&D, management development or talent management

  • Strong judgement, discretion, and confidentiality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full driving licence

  • Flexibility to undertake occasional domestic or international travel

Why This Role?

You'll be joining a respected public sector organisation with a national impact, contributing to meaningful OD initiatives that support a modern, values-driven workplace. It's an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their HR/OD experience in a complex, purpose-led environment.
