Senior Content Policy & Regulatory Compliance Manager (Tech Platforms)
€114,000 per year | Onsite Dublin | 12-Month Contract (Extension Likely)
We are hiring an experienced Senior Content Policy & Regulatory Compliance Manager to join a global technology company working at the intersection of online content, regulation, and platform governance.
This role sits within a global team responsible for hands-on regulatory compliance for content-related matters, with a strong focus on RFIs, audits, and regulatory escalations across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Personally draft and own responses to regulatory obligations related to online content
- Lead the preparation of Requests for Information (RFIs), audits, and compliance responses
- Support regulatory transparency reporting requirements
- Act as an escalation point for content-related regulatory and freedom of expression issues
- Provide clear, risk-based policy advice to senior stakeholders, often under time pressure
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Public Policy, Compliance, Human Rights, Trust & Safety, and Communications teams
- Participate in on-call rotations, including work outside standard business hours and occasional weekend support during escalations
Required Experience
- 6+ years' experience in content policy, tech policy, regulatory compliance, law, risk, or related fields
- Direct experience working with online content or platform policy
- Proven experience drafting regulator-facing documentation (e.g. RFIs, audits, compliance responses)
- Demonstrated ability to handle escalations, incidents, or crisis situations
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with incomplete information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally in large or complex organisations
