We're hiring for a global tech client building next-gen AR/VR and smart-glasses camera systems. This role sits in their camera architecture team and focuses on prototyping imaging and camera simulation pipelines.
The Offer
- Annual Salary up to £125,000 doe and location
- 12 months contract - Inside IR35, PAYE - paid weekly
- Fully remote in the UK - Must already hold the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship, cannot work from abroad)
What you'll do
- Build and refine camera simulation prototypes in MATLAB/Python.
- Model optics, sensors and imaging behaviour to guide architecture decisions.
- Work with optics, sensor and software teams across the UK/US/Poland.
What you need (Must have skills)
- Strong background in camera development, image design and image quality.
- 8+ years in MATLAB and/or Python for modelling, simulation, or imaging work.
- Solid understanding of imaging physics (optics, PSF, noise, sampling etc.).
Nice to have
- Lens/ray-tracing exposure (Code V, Zemax).
- Experience in smartphone or consumer imaging.
