This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of sales for one of Ireland's leading raw protein importers and suppliers. With a €100m turnover and over 25 years in business, this company sources chicken, turkey, pork, bacon, quail, rabbit and more from trusted partners across Europe, and supplies directly to wholesalers nationwide.
The role
As Sales Manager for the raw meat division, you will:
- Drive sales growth with national and regional wholesalers across Ireland.
- Negotiate commercial deals across a range of fresh-frozen proteins.
- Manage relationships, build trust, and deliver long-term partnerships.
- Track and respond to commodity-based meat pricing, maximising margin opportunities.
- Travel nationwide to meet customers, with one day per week at head office (West Dublin).
What we're looking for
- Proven field sales or business development experience in the meat, protein, or foodservice sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to price, negotiate, and close.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with wholesalers and distributors.
- Flexibility to travel across Ireland, with a base anywhere in the country.
