This is an opportunity to work at the centre of a high-growth international business, advising sales, commercial and operational teams across multiple EMEA markets on complex technology transactions and commercial agreements.

You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Deal Management, Finance and Contracts Operations, helping structure commercial deals while ensuring legal risk is carefully managed.

This role is ideal for a commercial lawyer with technology sector experience who enjoys working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and wants to operate close to the commercial decision-making of a global organisation.

What you will be doing

  • Negotiating and drafting commercial technology agreements, including enterprise software and cloud contracts

  • Advising internal teams on commercial deal structures and contractual risk across EMEA markets

  • Supporting sales and services teams through the full commercial transaction lifecycle

  • Providing practical legal guidance on European data protection and privacy requirements

  • Managing and coordinating with external legal counsel where required

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver commercially pragmatic legal solutions

What we are looking for

  • Fluent French and English

  • European law degree or relevant legal qualification

  • 3-5 years PQE gained in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house environment

  • Strong experience negotiating commercial contracts in the technology or software sector

  • Knowledge of European data protection and privacy legislation (CIPP certification advantageous)

  • International commercial experience across multiple jurisdictions

  • Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously

The type of lawyer who succeeds here

  • Commercially minded and comfortable advising business stakeholders

  • Strong negotiator who can balance legal risk with business priorities

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident working in a fast-paced, international technology environment

This role offers exposure to complex enterprise technology transactions across EMEA, working alongside experienced legal professionals in a collaborative international team.
