We are supporting a major national healthcare organisation as it completes a flagship Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation for paediatric and mental-health services. As part of this programme, we are hiring an Epic-certified Inpatient Analyst to lead the build and development of inpatient mental health workflows, working closely with clinical and project teams.

This is a rare opportunity to work on one of the most significant EHR transformation programmes in Ireland and to influence how mental health services are supported through Epic.

  • Developing workflow content for Clinical Documentation, Orders, Procedure Orders, Order Transmittal, and Bugsy.

  • Leading workflow design sessions with clinical mental health teams and service leads.

  • Creating training content and supporting readiness activities for end users.

  • Embedding within the Inpatient application team and contributing to project deliverables.

  • Supporting cross-team collaboration to ensure high-quality and clinically aligned design.

Must-have experience

  • Epic certification and hands-on experience in EpicCare Inpatient (Clinical Documentation, Orders, Procedure Orders, Order Transmittal, or Bugsy).

  • Proven experience on a recent Epic implementation.

  • Direct experience designing inpatient mental health workflows (CAMHS/CYMPH highly desirable).

  • Strong understanding of UK/Ireland mental health service delivery models.

  • Ability to work Irish office hours (role is fully remote).

  • Availability before late January 2026.

Highly desirable

  • Experience from Encompass (HSCNI), GSTT (Apollo Programme) or other UK Epic sites with mental health workflows.

  • Experience developing documentation, risk assessments, MDT notes, care plans or other mental-health specific functionality in Epic.

  • Background working with multidisciplinary clinical teams in mental health.

Contract Details

  • Initial 3-month contract with potential extension

  • Remote working

  • Competitive daily rate

  • Full-time engagement

If you have Epic inpatient expertise and direct mental health workflow experience - especially from UK or Irish implementations - we'd love to speak with you.
