Electrical Technician - Power Generation (Cork)
A major energy generation site in Cork is seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Technician to join its maintenance team, supporting high-availability gas turbine plant in a safety-critical environment.
What you'll bring:
Electrical & Instrumentation craft qualification (or equivalent)
Strong hands-on experience with instrumentation, electrical and control systems in an industrial setting
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs
Practical experience with instrument calibration and electrical test equipment
Full driving licence and flexibility for call-out / shift cover when required
Nice to have:
Power generation or heavy process industry experience
PLC / DCS exposure, commissioning or outage work
Knowledge of LOTO, permits and safe systems of work
Please note, the successful candidate will be required on occasions to have flexible working hours, including weekend and night working, and be available for callouts
