This is a UK based role; fully remote from anywhere within the UK – candidates must be able to work in the UK without the need of Visa sponsorship or relocation
The Offer:
- This role offers an annual salary of £125k to £135k basic (PAYE, paid weekly, within IR35) based on relevant experience.
- This role can be worked on a fully remote basis from anywhere within the UK
- The role will commence as a 9-month contract (working inside IR35 as a PAYE worker)
Your Profile:
- You’ll have a minimum of 7 years experience in the data warehouse arena.
- Strong, proven experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
- In-depth experience with programming languages (Python or Java), Python preferred.
- Very strong SQL skills
- Experience working with either a Map Reduce or an MPP system.
- Hands on and deep experience with schema design and dimensional data modelling.
- Ability to analyse data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies.
What the Day to-day will look like:
- Manage data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products.
- Interface with engineers, product managers and product analysts to understand data needs.
- Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
