Electrical Design Engineer Power Supplies
One of the worlds leading Electrical & Infra companies who are focused on helping the world to stay connected would like to appoint a senior electrical engineer with a background in designing power supplies. You will have the opportunity to design new electrical power supply products from concept right through to production – you will get the chance to work on large scale global electrical projects that help shape & change how we stay connected.
An Overview of the offer
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,500 per annum.
- Full time Permanent role
- This is a fully onsite role in a great community-based area of Pennsylvania.
- Additional Benefits – medical, vision, dental and life insurance, 401k pension, and paid time off
- A full relocation package is also available to those based outside the state.
What will do in this role
- You will work with a cross-functional team designing stand-alone and embedded power supplies for indoor and outdoor CATV equipment.
- You will be responsible for electrical design from concept through production supporting related component engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain activities.
- You will perform electrical, thermal, and DVT measurements at all stages of power supply development.
Your Profile
- You will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering in switch-mode power supply design.
It would be great if you had
- Experience designing SMPS using circuit topologies such as Forward, Flyback, Buck, Boost, etc.
- Experience in power supply input and output noise mitigation
