Our client is building the imaging systems behind future AR/VR and smart-glasses products. We're hiring a senior engineer to develop the C++ simulation and imaging tools used to explore new camera architectures.
What you'll do
- Build C++ imaging and simulation software used by camera/optics teams.
- Translate prototype MATLAB/Python models into production-quality C++.
- Work with optics, image quality and graphics teams on the full pipeline.
Must Have Skills
- Proven camera development experience with lenses, sensors or ISP/pipelines.
- Strong image design and image quality background.
- 8+ years building complex C++ software, ideally in imaging/simulation.
Nice to have
- Experience taking prototypes into C++.
- Understanding of lens modelling, calibration or camera metrology.
The Offer
- Annual Salary up to £125,000 doe and location
- 12-month PAYE contract, inside IR35.
- Fully remote in the UK - to be considered must hold UK work authorisation (no sponsorship, and cannot work abroad)
