EMEA Accountant - Compensation & Benefits
📍 Dublin City Centre (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
🕒 11-month contract | Start ASAP | €90,000 - €100,000 per year
We're working with a global, highly recognisable technology organisation that operates at serious scale across EMEA. They're looking to bring in a qualified accountant to support compensation and benefits accounting across multiple international entities.
This is a hands-on contract role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, well-structured environment with strong cross-functional exposure.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Preparing and reviewing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Owning compensation and benefits accounting across multiple EMEA entities
- Investigating open balances and resolving issues with key stakeholders
- Partnering closely with payroll, tax and statutory accounting teams
- Supporting audit queries and maintaining strong documentation and controls
- Contributing to process improvements and close efficiencies
What we're looking for
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with 1-2+ years' post-qualification experience
- Strong month-end close experience in a corporate or practice-trained environment
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and core accounting processes
- Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working with large data sets
- Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities
- Experience in compensation, payroll or benefits accounting is a strong advantage (but not essential)
