An exciting opportunity has become available with one of the world's leading travel platform companies. They are looking for an experienced Safety Escalations Specialist to join their Trust & Safety team.
In this role, you will…
- Manage complex and sensitive safety cases involving personal harm, trauma, and brand risk.
● Investigate escalated incidents, verify facts, and make policy-based determinations to reach fair and effective resolutions.
● De-escalate crisis situations using empathetic, trauma-informed communication.
● Monitor and manage cases involving damages, flagged or inappropriate content, and emerging online risk trends.
● Maintain strict confidentiality while documenting investigations clearly and comprehensively.
● Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal policies, processes, and tools.
We are looking for…
- 3+ years' relevant experience within Trust & Safety, escalations, investigations, mediation, emergency response, social work, or a similar environment.
● Experience handling high-risk, sensitive or crisis-related cases.
● Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
● The ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage competing priorities.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● High emotional intelligence and resilience.
● Availability to work 40 hours per week on rotational shifts, including weekends.
● Fluency in English (additional European languages such as Spanish, French or Portuguese are advantageous).
