The role: QA Test Engineer (SaaS, manual testing)
Location: Near to Warrington, Cheshire / Greater Manchester (relocation/sponsorship not an option)
Salary: £30k to £35k basic + benefits
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance / Test Engineer for a leading SaaS client located near to Warrington, Cheshire / Greater Manchester
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating test plans, coordinating testing activities along with the Software Team Lead, and carrying out testing on a range of software products that are developed by the development team.
Duties to include:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, plan quality testing activities.
- Play a key role in the planning of implementation of test activities throughout the system life cycle.
- Contributing to the company’s overall software production.
Required/Essential Skills/Experience
- You’ll have at least 2+ years plus in a similar QA Test Engineering role within a SaaS environment.
- You’ll have proven, manual testing experience
- Any PHP tech stack experience is highly advantageous
- Experience in creating comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience in testing application written in different technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You’ll be able to multi task at a high level
- Experience in working in an Agile development team is required
- Any experience in using Agile development tools such as Azure Boards and JIRA, experience in Dev Ops and any experience in building and executing test automation is desirable.
