Project Manager Wanted: Drive Public Service Projects to Success

 

Location: Bray / Dublin City Centre / North County Dublin sites

Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 per annum

Contract Duration: 9–12 months

What We're Looking For:

 

We seek an exceptional candidate with a passion for project management and a track record of success. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven Experience: With at least 4 years of project management under your belt, you have demonstrated your ability to deliver results. Your expertise in overseeing complex projects within the public sector sets you apart.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field provides you with a solid foundation to understand the intricacies of our project.
  • PMP Certification: While not mandatory, possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be highly advantageous.
  • RFP Experience: Familiarity with Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and tendering will be a valuable asset as you navigate the intricacies of our project.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

 

As our Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our initiative. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Defining Project Scope: Clearly defining the project's boundaries and objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Developing and Managing Project Schedule: Creating a comprehensive and detailed project timeline, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion of milestones.
  • Tracking Project Costs: Keeping a close eye on project expenses and ensuring efficient budget management.
  • Resource Management: Effectively managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and external stakeholders, to optimize project outcomes.

Do You Have:

 

  • Legal Right to Work in Ireland: Ability to work in Ireland full-time without sponsorship or assistance for the next 12 months.
  • Public Sector Delivery Experience: A proven track record of successfully delivering public sector projects in Ireland.
  • Collaboration with Management Consultants: Experience liaising with management consultants as part of your previous projects, fostering effective partnerships.
  • Project Management Certification: Certification in Project Management, such as PMP, would be advantageous.
