Job Title:  National Account Manager - On Trade RTM

Home-based, within easy reach of mainland England & Wales, with extensive travel required.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a driven and experienced National Account Manager to lead our On Trade Route to Market (RTM) strategy across the UK. This role will focus on managing relationships and driving brand visibility and activation programs within national and regional wholesalers and their depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts across the UK to execute the On Trade RTM brand building and activation plan.
  • Achieve KPIs for Distribution, Visibility, and Activation within RTM Independent Free Trade (IFT) customers.
  • Negotiate and implement profitable commercial agreements to drive brand activation, distribution, and volume growth.
  • Collaborate with third-party sales teams to maximize brand opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue new brand and outlet opportunities through effective networking and influencing of regional and national sales teams.
  • Plan and manage work weeks effectively to achieve objectives during key trading periods, including evening work and overnight stays as required.
  • Develop and maintain Account Plans aligned with brand objectives, becoming the business expert and lead for future brand projects.
  • Support the development of the company’s prestige strategy across designated accounts, delivering ranging and visibility solutions.
  • Create and execute RTM business plans in collaboration with the Channel Head and Brand teams.
  • Drive RTM business through promotions and activations aligned with agreed Annual Marketing Plan (AMP) spend and budget.

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen.
  • Current relationships with a least 1 National RTM.
  • Understanding and passion for the on-trade, with experience in RTMs across national and regional customers.
  • Proficient in computer skills including report writing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
