We have an excellent contract opportunity with a major player in the global SaaS sector.

Based in Dublin City Centre, this global technology company is offering the role as a 6-month contract.  Worked in a hybrid model with a salary range of €58,000 - €63,000 per annum.

About the Role:
As an Indirect Tax Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of tax compliance efforts. Your responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Indirect Tax declarations, reconciling general ledger accounts, and actively participating in ITX projects. Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyse data for global VAT/GST returns and filings.

  • Prepare monthly VAT reconciliations of ITX returns to the General Ledger.

  • Collaborate with ITX service providers and handle queries.

  • Review filings prepared by service providers for accuracy.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of ITX returns and payments.

  • Review Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and Intercompany transactions, addressing errors.

  • Liaise with internal teams for payments, refunds, and error corrections.

  • Contribute to the month-end process, including journal postings.

  • Support Tax Authorities queries and audits.

  • Collaborate with GL and Tax teams.

  • Assist in ad hoc ITX projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in a global ITX environment.

  • University degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.

  • Good understanding of accounting's impact on VAT.

  • Knowledge of VAT law and indirect taxes.

  • Working proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
