Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join the Strategy & Planning team within a dynamic and high-profile public sector division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, manage key events, and contribute to impactful research and analysis that shape organisational strategy.
Responsibilities
As an Executive Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Strategy & Planning Manager and team.
- Organising major events and ad-hoc meetings.
- Managing procurement processes and assisting with budget tracking.
- Supporting research projects, including competitor analysis and job classification studies.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and committee documents.
- Responding to internal data queries and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and independently.
- A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Day-to-Day
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for high-profile events and meetings.
- Monitor budgets and procurement activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare professional documents, including reports and presentations, for internal and external use.
- Act as a point of contact for data-related queries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
