Employee Relations Consultant - Large Multinational Technology Business.

The Employee Relations (ER) Consultant sits within a team of specialists, who engages cross-functionally across the business to resolve complex and sensitive employment matters, with a focus on compliance and consistency. The ER Consultant conducts investigations and/or provides coaching on various Employee Relations issues; to include, performance management, behavioural concerns, policy implication, conflict resolution, etc. They handle the execution of involuntary and mutual separation activities as well as providing Merger and Acquisition due diligence support.

Your Background

  • Expertise in UK employment law and experience in advising on Employee Relations matters ideally in large corporate environment.
  • Experience in providing guidance in implementation of reorganisations, M&As, individual involuntary terminations, performance management and investigations.
  • Demonstrate effective influencing skills to work across different organisations / groups.
  • Ability to navigate in ambiguous circumstances, with little direction, and to face new challenges with optimal outcome.
  • Highly effective communication skills. Including effective listening, questioning skills, presentation, synthesis, and persuasion.
  • Demonstrable experience in conflict management.

The Offer

  • This is a 6-month contract role offering an annual salary of £50,000
  • Right now, its work from home with a return to the office in Maidenhead on a hybrid basis.
