International Benefits Operations Specialist

6-month contract | Fully remote (Ireland)
View to extension or permanency

Salary range €85,000 - €100,000

We're partnering with a global, fast-scaling technology-led organisation to hire an International Benefits Operations Specialist to support their EMEA and wider international benefits operations.

This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys the detail of benefits delivery, system configuration, and solving complex Tier 2 employee queries - not just talking about strategy.

You'll sit within a global Benefits Operations function, working closely with People Technology, Payroll, Legal, and regional People teams to ensure benefits and absence programmes run smoothly across multiple countries.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning Tier 2 benefits and absence queries, resolving complex employee cases end-to-end

  • Supporting multi-country benefits operations across EMEA and other regions

  • Partnering with People Technology on Workday Benefits & Absence configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

  • Ensuring accurate benefits data flow into payroll, including deductions and reporting

  • Managing vendors, POs, invoices, and financial administration linked to benefits

  • Supporting benefits projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and automation within Workday

  • Ensuring benefits administration aligns with local legislation and internal policy

What we're looking for

  • 5-7 years' experience in Benefits Operations, HR Operations, or HRIS-focused roles

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Workday benefits and/or absence plans (or a comparable HRIS)

  • Proven experience supporting international benefits programmes (e.g. UK, Netherlands, Spain, Canada)

  • Comfortable managing vendors, invoices, and benefits financial processes

  • Detail-driven, analytical, and confident working independently in a global environment

  • Able to think through the downstream impact of benefits design and system decisions

  • Confident stakeholder manager who can operate calmly in a fast-moving organisation

Why this role

  • Fully remote anywhere in Ireland

  • Exposure to global benefits operations at scale

  • Strong likelihood of extension or permanency

  • A role where operational excellence genuinely matters - and is valued

If you're a benefits professional who enjoys getting into the detail, improving how things work, and supporting employees across multiple countries, this is well worth a conversation.
