Data Engineer – SQL, Python, ETL (Global MediaTech)
Salary: £90k to £95k basic + benefits (PAY, paid weekly, within IR35)
Contract: 12-Month Contract to start ASAP (MAX 4 weeks notice)
Location: Remote within the London / South East UK regions

Our leading global MediaTech business is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a high-performing team working on data infrastructure that directly supports decision-making across core products. 

The Role:
You’ll be embedded in a team focused on delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions. Working closely with data scientists and other engineers, you’ll build, maintain, and optimise data pipelines that power analytics and insights. Each engineer will be assigned to a specific product area based on their skill set, with clearly scoped project deliverables and timelines.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and data processes
  • Integrate new data sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable datasets for reporting
  • Create and maintain dashboards and data visualisations
  • Contribute to internal on-call support as required
  • Deliver against well-defined technical milestones with high accuracy

Must-Have Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in a data engineering role
  • Strong SQL and Python programming skills
  • Proven experience with data processing (ETL), analysis, and visualisation
  • Ability to build and maintain scalable data pipelines
  • Familiarity with databases and a sound understanding of data governance
  • Confident communicator with the ability to raise issues and meet project deadlines

Good to Have:
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualisation tools
  • Previous work in MediaTech, SaaS, or high-scale data environments
  • Experience in cross-regional collaboration (EMEA/North America/Israel)
  • Degree in data, computer science, or a related discipline
