Challenge

Meta required highly specialized talent to build and maintain its expansive data centre and network infrastructure in Ireland and the UK. The challenge was not only sourcing skilled professionals for a variety of roles but also ensuring seamless integration into Meta’s operations. Furthermore, maintaining ongoing HR and payroll management for such a large and dynamic workforce added another layer of complexities.

Mandate

Principle was tasked with:

  • Recruiting and placing talent across multiple levels of technical and engineering roles, including NOC Engineers & Technicians, Infrastructure Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Network Security Engineers, Vulnerability Engineers, System Engineers, and more.

  • Providing comprehensive HR support, including payroll management, background checks, and ongoing employee assistance to ensure contingent workforce stability and compliance.

  • Delivering a flexible and scalable recruitment solution capable of supporting Meta’s long-term expansion in data centre and infrastructure operations.

  • Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineers at levels I-VI.

II. Introduction - Sagax Technologies

Sagax Technologies, the tech division of MCNA Dental, required the establishment of a strong engineering presence in Ireland to support its US-based data centres.

Challenge

Principle faced the complex challenge of building an Irish office from scratch, tasked with sourcing and recruiting 22 highly skilled engineers. These roles spanned from Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Software Engineers to senior management, all of whom were needed to support the company's data centre and network infrastructure operations. The project also demanded the establishment of a full HR infrastructure to manage employee onboarding, payroll, and ongoing support.

Mandate

Principle was exclusively entrusted with managing the entire end-to-end process, which included:

  • Building Sagax Technologies' office and workforce in Ireland.

  • Recruiting a full spectrum of technical roles such as Network Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Software Engineers, and Senior Management positions.

  • Providing comprehensive HR services, including onboarding, payroll management, and acting as the primary HR point of contact for all employee-related matters.

Challenge

BlackBox, required highly skilled technical and network professionals to support its data centres in Sweden. The challenge was not only to source top talent across a wide range of technical roles but also to provide ongoing market insights, salary benchmarks, and guidance to ensure competitive hiring practices. Additionally, BlackBox needed a partner who could facilitate the seamless integration of both contract and permanent hires into their operations

Mandate

Principle was tasked with:

  • Recruiting over 10+ specialised technical and network professionals for BlackBox's data centres in Sweden including 2 Senior build project managers for a new data centre in Sweden

  • Providing ongoing support through market insights, salary benchmarks, and talent availability guidance.

  • Working closely with BlackBox's internal recruitment teams to ensure the smooth onboarding and integration of new hires into their technical operations.

Solution

Principle employed its expertise in technical recruitment to successfully place a diverse array of roles, including:

  • Network Operations Engineers, NOC Manager, and Network Operations Project Manager.

  • Site Manager for Network Operations, Network Administrator, and Network Maintenance Engineers.
