Software Engineer Rust - Build System

Interested in speaking with Open-Source Engineers who have experience developing through RUST to work on a next-generation build system that has been operational for the past 9 years and continues to grow strong.

This role involves you working with the internal development team & community members on both technical and community aspects of the project. This role is primarily engineering-focused, and aimed at developing the features required to help the wider industry leverage the cutting edge features that are being developed

The Offer

• This role offers an annual salary of £90 - £115K based on relevant experience
• The role will commence as a 12-month contract (as a PAYE worker, inside IR35)
• You will be working from state-of-the-art offices in central London as part of a global high performing development team
• Onsite benefits such as fully subsidised meals and snacks will be provided

An overview of your role as a Rust Software Engineer

• Working with the core dev teams around potential improvements to the system
• Feature development on extensibility and integration features to help anyone easily pick up and set up the system
• Enabling a build and test pipelines for continuous integration and open-source releases
• Managing existing GitHub PRs and Issues

Your Profile

• Previous experience programming through RUST
• Open-source technology experience
• Working with Integrations
• Understand Build systems - BAZEL preferred
