Online Safety Support Specialist - Customer Support
An immediate opportunity has become available with a global online company to provide support to users within the community over safety concerns- concerns may include: Personal Safety Threats, Domestic Violence, Suicide or Self Harm, Physical and Sexual Assault, Drugs activity, Human Trafficking.
As a Safety Support Specialist, you will identify threatening and harmful circumstances, possess empathetic communication and quick decision making, with the goal of providing the best support possible to the community member. You will document and escalate all safety reports as per company policy. You will also be responsible for investigating cases of brand risk
- 1+ years of experience in customer experience, mediation, social work, psychology, emergency services, or a similar role.
- Background in advocacy, crisis management, mediation, clinical/non-clinical social work, or e-commerce customer service experience
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
This role will commence as a contract and will require you to cover some weekends likely 1 in 4 and follow a shift pattern (early/late starts).
