Network Deployment Engineer Global Telco

Here at Principle we have an immediate requirement for a Senior Network Deployment Engineer with a proven background in large scale Infrastructure deployment and Data Centre Technologies to join our client a Global Telcomms giant. The day to day for the Senior Network Engineer will be the design, deployment , configuration and support of large scale corporate networks A strong knowledge of POP infrastructure and Data Centre Technologies is needed
Overview of the role

• Design and development of both large-scale production and corporate network server infrastructure in Data Centres and POP sites
• Liase with Engineering, Facilities Operations and Vendors to calculate and meet all equipment requirements
• Manage project timelines and support network turn-up
• Create all necessary network and server rack elevations, floor plans , wiring diagrams and port maps for new deployments
• Manage all assets of networking gear in Data Centre and Pop sites
• Document and follow RMA processes for all procedures and relevant vendors

Background Experience

• Certification such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent experience
• Hands on experience providing support of Linux based Servers and Network Devices
• Hands on experience working in an Infrastructure Engineer capacity
• Related work experience responsible for designing, deploying and operating large-scale infrastructure
• Must have strong understanding of Data Centre Architecture and associated issues
• Solid understanding of Queue Management , vendor engagement and escalation& participation in ongoing PIOP s Deployment Projects
