Financial Reporting Associate

Principle HR are working with an international financial services company that specialise in providing Fund Administration solutions to a broad range of investment manage in traditional and alternative investment assets around the world. Currently they have a vacancy for a Financial Reporting Associate to join their team.

Main purpose of the position:

50% of the position relates to preparation of financial statements and assisting with overall audits. The other 50% involves preparation of reports for fund boards, preparation of management information and completion of regulatory reporting.

Main Responsibilities

Audit / Financial Statements:

  • Preparation of financial statements for Irish UCITS companies including excel workings and draft financial statements
  • Contact point for audit queries and liaising with business to ensure prompt resolution of queries

Monthly Management and Fund Board reporting:

  • Preparation of monthly management reporting KPIs using system extracts and communication with various departments to ensure the accuracy of the information within agreed deadlines
  • Preparation of monthly / quarterly board reports using the system extracts and communication with various departments for their input to very tight and strict deadlines


  • Completion of monthly Central Bank reporting
  • Assist in the completion of quarterly MMIF Central Bank reporting
  • Complete allocated distribution calculations
  • To complete other duties when required

What You Need

  • Third level qualification in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position
  • Minimum of one year previous experience working in a Financial Services environment ideally dealing with funds
  • Good experience working with Microsoft Office suite- particularly Excel
  • Good report writing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as effectively and efficiently on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and target driven
