Account Manager Softare Delivery

A Global Software Solutions organisation, with bases across EMEA, US and APAC are currently building out a new team in the Dublin office are seeking an experienced and client engaging Account Manager to come on board at this exciting time. The company provide development solutions to large corporates, background experience selling, managing or in the delivery of software is essential for this role.

This role will work across a variety of clients in the E-Commerce and Online sectors and will give the Account Manager the chance to work with some of the best known and respected brands in Ireland and Globally. You will be the point of contact and subject matter expert for the provision and negotiation of technical solution offerings from this organisation and work closely with the service delivery managers and project teams to exceed expectations and delight clients.

Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Be subject matter expert for new and existing clients with regard to engagement and technology solutions available
  • Create business strategies and account plans in line with client needs
  • Partner with Business Unit Heads as client managers
  • Align with organisational strategy and plans with regard to maximisation and growth of client accounts
  • Be aware of current trends and opportunities in the market to leverage organisational offerings to clients
  • Build and develop strong relationships with decision makers in existing and new client organisations
  • Drive revenue within client/account portfolio as well as upselling/cross selling other organisational offerings
  • Be involved in sales/pre sales activities and be aware of market opportunities


  • Demonstrated track record of growing and developing client relationships and accounts and promotion of end to end solutions in the technology market
  • Ideally you will be familar with agile development
  • Knowledge of technical platforms, business models, subject matter and trends
  • Experience as an account manager in a similar organisation, software solutions, cloud computing or similar
  • Ability to operate strategically whilst being hands on and supporting clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound business/commercial acumen
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bachelors degree
