Vendor Strategy and Governance Manager

A major global technology business is hiring a Vendor Strategy and Governance Manager to support a high-impact supplier transition and governance programme across a complex vendor operations environment.

This is a strong fit for someone who has operated in big tech, global operations, managed services, procurement, supplier governance or vendor strategy, and enjoys work that sits between commercial control, operational execution and senior stakeholder management.

You'll be driving supplier governance, intake, transition readiness, contract compliance, performance metrics and escalation management across a fast-moving vendor ecosystem.

The Offer:

  • Competitive salary of euro 108,000 pa
  • Role will start on a 4-month contract
  • Hybrid Working: 3 days per week onsite at state-of-the-art offices in Dublin
  • Lots of cool onsite perks!

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing supplier site moves and operational readiness for a major transition programme
  • Owning intake for new vendor-operated locations across BAU and programme activity
  • Enforcing location strategy guardrails, headcount thresholds and vendor-first principles
  • Supporting supplier performance metrics, dashboards and cross-functional reporting
  • Managing escalations, performance risks, SIPs and penalties
  • Driving compliance across billing, cost, invoice, MSA, SOW and SOX-related processes
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs, process maps and workflow documentation

What you'll bring:

  • 6-8+ years' experience in vendor strategy, supplier governance, outsourcing operations, procurement, managed services or operational programme management
  • Strong understanding of supplier performance, contract compliance, governance frameworks and risk mitigation
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a complex global environment
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial judgement and ability to turn data into practical governance action
  • Confidence managing ambiguity, escalations and senior stakeholder expectations

This role would suit someone who has worked in or around big tech supplier ecosystems and wants a contract with real operational substance, not just governance on paper.
