SQL/PHP Developer – Media Automation Project
One of the most innovative Media/Tech companies whose products and services are used by millions around the world each day to interact, engage and communicate with each other would like to appoint an experienced Software Developer with strong SQL/PHP skills to work on and manage an automation project.
The Offer
- This is a 6-month contract role to begin in early Jan (as a PAYE only)
- The role offers an annual salary of £125-140K based on relevant experience
- This SQL/PHP role can be worked on a fully remote basis from anywhere within the UK
The Role
Working on a specific project within online shop that is geared at global online business advertising 70% of your role will be focused on coding and 30% will be on stakeholder management. The main focus of your role will be to automate tasks. Hack is the main programming language within a Unix & Linux environment.
You will be working as part of a global engineering team of 10 and will work cross functionally with 10+ partners (privacy engineers, legal, data engineers, support engineers, content designers)
Core Skills Needed
- A solid background as a hands-on software developer (circa 10+ years)
- In depth knowledge of SQL, PHP
- Knowledge of either React JS, Hack, VB, Python, JavaScript would be good to have
- Must be comfortable and knowledgeable working with Algorithms
- Experience working cross functionally - good communication is essential here
- Ideally you will have worked within a Global Tech, Media. AdTech or similar type org.
