Senior Java Developer - New Product
Principle are working with a Global Financial Services provider who have recently expanded their EMEA operation and set up an office in Dublin . They are currently in the process of building out the development side of the business and are looking for dynamic a Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Online Platforms and Web Services development .
The key focus of this role will be strongly focused on new product development and enhancement of the companies service architecture and B2B Multi tier Platform .
The companies digital platform is cloud driven and requires a solid understanding Web Services, RESTful Api and Cloud based Infrastructure (AWS/Azure) #
This role will see the candidate gain exposure to cutting edge and current technologies and also be an integral part of adopting and the integration new and innovative technologies going forward
There will be strong cross functional team collaboration between the Dublin and London offices.
Core :
- Solid Java Core background / Java/JavaEE
- Experience or interest in RESTful API led development
- Experience working within an agile environment
- AWS /Azure experience is highly sought after
Nice to have :
- Willingness to use collaborative technologies in a team environment
- Understanding how software development projects are managed.
- Mastery at writing elegant and robust software
- Expertise in relational databases and SQL
- Big Data (MongoDB, Elastic Search etc)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
