We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant for a 12-month contract with a leading multinational company in the payments industry. This is a fully remote position, offering a competitive salary of €65,000 per year.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks including preparing month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to the payments ecosystem. You will also have the opportunity to work with diverse and cross-functional teams, both domestically and internationally, and support quarterly reviews and annual statutory audits performed by external auditors.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with:
- 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a large multinational company or Big 4 environment.
- You should also have technical and practical knowledge of revenue recognition standards under IFRS & US GAAP, as well as experience with global entity structures and multi-country/currency environments.
- In addition, you should be tech-savvy with strong Excel and SQL skills, and experience with Oracle Cloud & Hyperion would be a plus.
