Policy and Economic Analyst - Public Sector
Permanent full-time role| Hybrid in Dublin 1 | €64,000 plus benefits
We're recruiting an Analyst - Policy & Analytics to join a highly regarded regulatory organisation in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining regulatory policy, economic/financial analysis and data to help shape decisions with real market and consumer impact.
You'll work across regulatory policy and analysis, including:
Conducting market research and analysing financial, pricing and market data
Supporting the development and review of regulatory policy
Drafting consultations and assessing stakeholder responses
Reviewing regulatory requirements, financial information and cost allocations
Using data and BI tools to identify trends and provide evidence-based insights
Working with stakeholders across Ireland and at European level
Non-negotiable requirements:
Third-level degree in Accounting, Economics or Regulation
Demonstrable project management experience
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Excellent written and stakeholder communication skills
Particularly desirable: Experience within a regulator, regulated industry, government or regulatory consultancy, alongside exposure to regulatory frameworks, public consultations, financial/cost analysis or Power BI.
Postal, logistics or e-commerce experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
