Major Incident Manager - Technology
Dublin (Hybrid) - 11 Month Contract - €90,000
We're partnering with a global technology organisation to hire an experienced Major Incident Manager to lead the resolution of high-impact (P1/P0) incidents within a complex, customer-facing environment.
This is a high-visibility role where you'll act as the central point of command during critical incidents, working cross-functionally with engineering, support, and security teams to restore service and minimise business impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading end-to-end management of major incidents in a fast-paced environment
- Acting as the incident commander on bridge calls, coordinating technical teams globally
- Driving timely, clear communication to both technical stakeholders and senior leadership
- Ensuring incidents are resolved efficiently and post-incident reviews are completed
- Partnering with teams across operations and security to manage critical events
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing major incidents in a complex technical environment
- Strong understanding of ITIL (Incident & Problem Management)
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging at executive level during high-pressure situations
- Technically literate, able to translate complex issues clearly
- Experience in SaaS or large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable
