Infrastructure Architect / Senior SRE (Cloud-Native Re-engineering) - up to €96,000
Architect the cloud-native future of Tier-0 services for a global software giant.
DNS, LDAP, DHCP, CDN, cloud networking - the services everything else depends on - are being re-engineered for the cloud-native era, and we need an architect to lead the charge. You'll design Kubernetes architecture across Azure, AWS and GCP and lead Crossplane orchestration across hyperscalers.
What's in it for you?
- Annual Salary up to €96,000 (DOE)
- 11-month contract with the possibility of extension + PAYE - paid weekly via PrincipleHR
- Location Dublin; Hybrid working - on-site Mondays and Tuesdays
What you'll need:
- 7+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering or SRE
- 3+ years of Kubernetes in production at the architecture level, not just operations
- 2+ years of Terraform/IaC for public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong container ecosystem knowledge - Docker, registries, image strategies
- Proven experience leading infrastructure modernisation or migration programmes
- Comfort with "everything is code" in a cloud-native context; Go development skills where needed
A typical day might look like:
- Architecting the cloud-native re-engineering of Tier-0 services
- Designing Kubernetes cluster architecture and operational readiness across hyperscalers
- Leading Crossplane architecture for infrastructure orchestration
- Containerising internal tooling and orchestration workflows
- Supporting migration planning and execution
