Financial Analyst - 11-Month Contract (Hybrid 3 days office Dublin City)
- Global Tech | Vendor Operations | Excel-Driven Role
- Salary Range: €50,000 - €60,000 per year - no further benefits.
Are you early in your finance career and ready to step into a global, fast-moving tech environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale, complex organisation where you'll support financial operations across international vendor networks.
We're hiring a Financial Analyst on an 11-month contract, based in Dublin on a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 from home). You'll be part of a high-performing team supporting global operations, working closely with external vendors and internal commercial teams. If you enjoy spreadsheets, problem-solving, and keeping financial processes running smoothly, you'll feel right at home.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support the management of invoicing, purchase orders, forecasting and OPEX reporting for a portfolio of global vendors. Day to day, you'll:
- Review and validate vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies
- Manage purchase orders and monthly/quarterly OPEX reporting cycles
- Work heavily in Excel - pivot tables, LOOKUPs, SUMIFs - and transform large data sets into clean, usable insights
- Liaise with international vendors and internal teams to resolve billing issues
- Extract and review data from internal dashboards
- Spot, escalate, and investigate discrepancies in vendor estimates vs actuals
This team works to tight SLAs, so strong attention to detail and comfort with monthly deadline cycles (especially week one) is key.
Must-Have Skills
These are the skills the hiring team will shortlist on:
- Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, data transformation)
- Confident working with large data sets
- Strong attention to detail and commercial numerical literacy
- Comfortable engaging with external vendors and stakeholders
- Ability to work onsite in Dublin 3 days per week
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
Nice to Have
Not essential, but will give you an edge:
- Experience with Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI
- Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Audit or accounting experience
- Previous experience with invoicing, PO management, or month-end cycles
Who This Suits
You'll thrive if you're:
- 1-2 years into your finance or audit career
- Highly organised, accurate, and able to spot errors at a glance
- Comfortable juggling multiple vendor relationships
- Curious about how global tech organisations operate behind the scenes
- Looking to gain exposure to commercial operations, forecasting, and vendor finance
