Calling out an experienced Lab Technician to join a well-known global beverage co in Dublin. Do you have a background in Food Science/ Chemistry/ wet chemistry experience working within Lab environment? If so, this role might interest you.
As a Lab Technician, you will be working within the analytical and sensory services team helping in chemistry tasks as required.

Your day-to-day work looks like
- You will be carrying out brewing analysis of all project/ trial samples to support various programs and projects
- You will be conducting analysis such as ABV, OG, CO2, Acidity, Ph, Head retention, etc
- Logging of samples onto LIMS System- Lab Vantage
- Analyze the proficiency scheme samples, ring scheme samples, etc
- To undertake housekeeping 5S and administration duties such as sample handling preparation, disposal, etc
Background
- Science degree specialising in Food Science, Analytical Science or equivalent
- 2+ years experience working in an analytical laboratory environment, with experience working in a brewing environment an advantage
- Good knowledge and experience in Gas Chromatography (GC), HPLC including troubleshooting, analysing compounds, wet chemistry analysis/tests, etc
- Good knowledge and understanding of LIMS Systems
- Good technical background in analytical instrumentation or relevant experience
