Operational Specialist - Electricity Generation

Our client is a major utility company that is playing a pivotal role in Ireland's journey towards a net-zero carbon future and they have an immediate requirement for an Operational Specialist to join their team. In this dynamic position, you will engage in operations and maintenance tasks across all areas of the Dublin stations, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to ensure the efficient operation of the client's generation assets. As a key player in their multi-disciplinary team, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and teamwork ethos to excel in this role.

About the role

• This is a permanent full time role that will require attendance onsite across 3 stations in Dublin. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks in operations and maintenance across Dublin stations
• Collaborate with team members to carry out duties effectively
• Provide support to other teams and projects as needed
• Adapt to shift work based on business needs

Qualifications:

• Essential: Craft qualification in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical field or relevant work experience
• Desirable: Experience in process/plant operations
